Laurel for Pharmacology Educator Willmann Liang

Dr. Willmann Liang, lecturer of the School of Biomedical Sciences, was named Fellow of the Academy of Pharmacology Educators under the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. This is the first time faculty members from Asia-Pacific have been inducted since the Academy’s inception in 2010, and Dr. Liang is the only representative from a Hong Kong university. Passionate about teaching, he has for years curated a variety of mnemonics, animations and drawings to deepen biomedical sciences, medicine and pharmacy students’ interest in and understanding of pharmacology.
