CUHK Inside Out

The Virtual Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions was held on 16 October. More than 15,000 registrants visited over 110 online booths, which have more than 186,000 page views. The registrants learnt about the latest admissions-related information, as well as various academic programmes, college life and other learning opportunities via live chats and ZOOM meetings.

The event provided an array of live admission talks and live chat sessions, which introduced various admission channels including the JUPAS and Non-JUPAS schemes for applicants with sub-degree or overseas qualifications and for applicants from the mainland. Prof. Alan K.L. Chan, Provost of CUHK, delivered an address at the first live admission talk for JUPAS applicants.

The campus nestles on a hill and has plentiful greenery. Different places have their own characteristics. The University has guided tours for 1,600 participants interested in campus visits. Led by student ambassadors and staff, they were able to visit the picturesque campus and key scenic spots, such as the University Mall, Pavilion of Harmony and Lake Ad Excellentiam, to have a taste of CUHK’s campus life.
