CUHK Partners with CFA Society Hong Kong to Empower Talents

In September 2021, the Faculty of Business Administration signed memoranda of understanding with CFA Society Hong Kong in providing a grant for the CUHK MBA programmes or an award for the EMBA programme to the Society’s members. The Faculty is the first business school in Asia to offer a full suite of BBA, MBA and EMBA programmes, cultivating high-achievers who steer and shape the global business landscape.

‘It is our great pleasure to have invited the Society to join the CUHK MBA Corporate Scholars Programme as one of our valued corporate partners to nurture future business leaders. CUHK MBA is committed to equipping talents from diverse backgrounds with the most up-to-date business knowledge and the highly sought-after professional skills, fostering the growth of talents in different industries and preparing them to lead confidently in their future managerial positions,’ said Grace Liang, executive director of MBA programmes at CUHK.

Under the partnership, the Society’s regular members (CFA charterholders or non-CFA charterholders), affiliate members or associate members can either enjoy a grant covering 10% of the tuition fee for CUHK’s MBA programme or receive an Association Referral Award of HK$60,000 for the EMBA programme.

‘We are glad to cooperate with the Society to offer the Association Referral Award to their members so as to achieve the aim of CUHK EMBA programme in nurturing top-notch management talents with a perfect blend of Chinese wisdom and western knowhow. CUHK EMBA is the first EMBA programme in Hong Kong. In 2021, it is ranked No. 1 globally on alumni’s career progress and the No. 1 independent EMBA programme in Greater China (English-instructed) among the world’s top 100 by Financial Times,’ said Prof. Howard Lam, director of the EMBA programme and associate professor of practice at the Department of Marketing.
