Prof. Charles K. Kao, former Vice-Chancellor of CUHK, celebrated his 80th birthday on 4 November. Prof. and Mrs. Kao had an enjoyable morning at a birthday party held on campus, meeting some 30 old friends and colleagues at CUHK who conveyed their best wishes and respect to the great man.
