The CUHK Women Basketball Team defeated its counterpart, Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), by 58:55 in the USFHK final held at Southorn Stadium on 29 March. This is the team's championship in the fourth consecutive year.

Though lagging behind in the first half, , the players narrowed the gap 28:30 before intermission, under the CUHK team captain Lo Hui-fong's leadership. The third quarter was a turning point for the CUHK team when a PolyU player injured Hui-fong who nearly fainted from a nosebleed. Later, Hui-fong and another teammate were fouled out by the fourth quarter. This lifted the team's morale. Kwong Hiu-lam stepped up and led the team to win.
