The USFHK rugby competition was held on 3rd and 4th April. The CUHK Women's Rugby Team won the Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) by 12:7 to defend its championship. The CUHK team defeated Hong Kong Baptist University, Lingnan University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and HKIEd in the pool games and entered the semi-final with an unbeaten record.

After defeating City University in the semi-final, the CUHK team played with HKIEd again in the final. Both teams adopted defensive tactics in the beginning of the match. The breakthrough was brought about by Andie Ma with her full try to lead 7:0 before the end of the first half. HKIEd replaced several offensive players to fight back in the second half. They scored 7:5 with the failure of conversion. Near the end of the match, Chong Ka-yan of CUHK had a try along the sideline and helped CUHK to capture the victory. Andie was the MVP of the competition.
