Lee (5th left) and Dr. Joseph Lui (4th right), chairman of Medication Safety Committee, Hospital Authority 論防止用藥錯誤的策略 • Strategies for Preventing Medication Errors 藥物安全學術會議 • Conference on Drug Safety 由 香港中文大學與中國工程院醫藥衞生學部、中南 大學、英國倫敦大學及法國波爾多大學聯合主辦， 中南大學臨床藥理研究所承辦的「2010醫學科學前沿論 壇—國際藥物警戒與藥物安全學術會議」，於2010年11月 30日在湖南長沙召開，主題為「更加安全有效的用藥」。會 議邀請了中南大學臨床藥理研究所所長周宏灝院士（ 前排 右七 ）、中大醫學院食物及藥品安全研究中心主任陳恩強 逾 二百二十名醫生、藥劑師和護士於2010年11月 28日參加了由香港中文大學醫學院、英國倫敦大 學、法國波爾多大學、衞生署及醫院管理局合辦的「2010 藥物安全研究中心聯合會議」。 是次會議讓與會者了解到用藥失誤問題的根源和治標方 法，認識高風險的處境，以及如何融會多學科的知識和系 統法來預防用藥錯誤，也分享如何透過醫護人員共同努 力，促進用藥安全。 會上，中大食物及藥品安全研究中心主任陳恩強教授、藥 劑學院院長李漢良教授、那打素護理學院院長李子芬教 授、內科及藥物治療學系臨床藥理學科主任湯寧信教授、 倫敦大學藥劑學院兒科藥學研究中心主任黃志基教授， 波爾多大學藥理學系主任尼古拉斯．穆爾教授和其他專家 提出研究及監測用藥錯誤，以及醫護人員的再教育、再培 訓等結構性方案，強調繼續努力、監督實施改進計劃的重 要性。 O ver 220 doctors, pharmacists and nurses attended the 2010 Joint Conference of Drug Safety Research Centres on 28 November 2010. The conference was jointly organized by the Faculty of Medicine, CUHK, the University of London, the University of Bordeaux, the Department of Health and the Hospital Authority. The conference provided a platform for participants to learn about the root causes andmanagement of medication errors, high risk situations and the multidisciplinary and systems approach to preventing medication errors; and to share ideas on how healthcare professionals could work together to promote medication safety. 教授（ 前排右六 ）、倫敦大學藥劑學院兒科藥學研究中心主 任黃志基教授（ 前排右八 ）以及波爾多大學藥理學系主任 尼古拉斯．穆爾教授（ 前排右五 ）作專題報告，並探討了藥 物流行病學、臨床試驗、藥物安全與警戒，藥物安全研究 網絡和個體化用藥等領域的最新進展及新技術。會議促 進中國醫藥科學研究與國際的合作，也提供了培養創新人 才、讓他們與中外知名學者學習交流的機會。 J ointly organized by CUHK and the Division of Medicine and Health, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Central South University, the University of London and the University of Bordeaux, the 2010 International Conference on Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety was held in Changsha, Hunan on 30 November 2010 on the theme of Strategies to Promote Drug Safety and Effectiveness. Prof. Zhou Honghao (7th right, front row), member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and director, Institute of Clinical Pharmacology, Central South University; Prof. Thomas Y.K. Chan (6th right, front row), director, Centre for Food and Drug Safety, Faculty of Medicine, CUHK; Prof. Ian C.K. Wong (8th right, front row), director, Centre for Paediatric Pharmacy Research, School of Pharmacy, the University of London; and Prof. Nicholas Moore (5th right, front row), head, Department of Pharmacology, the University of Bordeaux, were the keynote speakers. The event provided a forum for in-depth discussion on the current topics in pharmacovigilance and drug safety, including methods for assessing drug safety and effectiveness, clinical trials, pharmacoepidemiology, post-marketing surveillance, rational prescribing, personalized medicine and the importance of national and regional drug safety research networks. At the conference, Prof. Thomas Y.K. Chan, director, Centre for Food and Drug Safety, CUHK; Prof. Vincent H.L. Lee, director, School of Pharmacy, CUHK; Prof. Diana T.F. Lee, director, the Nethersole School of Nursing, CUHK; Prof. Brian Tomlinson, head, Division of Clinical Pharmacology, Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, CUHK; Prof. Ian C.K. Wong, director, Centre for Paediatric Pharmacy Research, School of Pharmacy, the University of London; Prof. Nicholas Moore, head, Department of Pharmacology, the University of Bordeaux, and other experts emphasized the importance of continuing efforts and structured programmes for the teaching and training of healthcare professionals, monitoring medication errors, overseeing the implementation of improvement plans and conducting research.
