Deployment Progress of IP Phones and Data Port Services

The Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC) has completed the migration of PABX phones system to IP Phone and Data Port Services for Graduate School Office and John Fulton Centre. Upgrading work for the Faculty of Arts, the Morningside College office and the Research Building in Area 39 is now in progress.  Currently, ITSC is testing e-fax service and planning for its implementation.

CUHK Changes Default Service Provider

Yahoo! Hong Kong Limited will stop providing the Yahoo! Search Service to CUHK websites effective from 28 November 2011. From that day onwards, the University will use Google Custom Search as our new service provider.

During the transitional period from 28 November 2011 to 31 May 2012, search requests will be redirected via the existing search engine link to a new one. After 31 May 2012, the old link will become inactive.
