A United College Budding Scholars delegation, accompanied by the academic advisers Prof. Chu Lee Man (Department of Biology) and Prof. Lin Hui (Department of Geography and Resource Management) visited the University of Missouri — St Louis (UMSL) from 27th May to 5th June. The delegation from Zhejiang University, PRC also visited UMSL during this period to form the first part of the Hong Kong-PRC-USA Budding Scholars Exchange Programme in celebration of the college's 50th Anniversary. The United College students conducted a seminar at UMSL on 'Sustainable Development and Pollution Control in the Pearl River Delta Region'.
