- Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Dean of Medicine, has been re-appointed by the Secretary for Food and Health as a member of the Medical Council of Hong Kong for three years from 1 October 2012.
- Prof. Chang Ping-hung Wallace, associate professor in the School of Architecture, has been appointed by the Buildings Department as a member of the Technical Committee for the Code of Practice for Site Supervision from 31 July 2012 to 30 June 2014.
