'The Highest Excellence is Like Water: Kit-Keung Kan’s Recent Ink Paintings and Calligraphy' exhibition was held from 7 February to 2 March at the Lobby Gallery of the Chung Chi College Administration Building. The event was presented to celebrate the College’s 60th anniversary. Officiating guests at the opening ceremony were Prof. Leung Yuen-sang, head of Chung Chi College; Prof. Leung Yee, chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 60th Anniversary of the College; Prof. Mok Kar-leung, chairman of the Department of Fine Arts, CUHK; Prof. Kwong Ho-yee, chairperson of the Art Promotion Committee of the College; and Dr. Kan Kit-keung.

The exhibition featured Dr. Kan Kit-keung’s (physics graduate, Chung Chi, 1966) preference for waterscape and his profound feeling for nature. Dr. Kan’s aspiration for innovation and his attempt to reinterpret the traditional Chinese art form were very much demonstrated in his calligraphic installations.
