2012 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Department of Psychology. The major event of the 30th anniversary took place on campus, on 19 May 2012 with an international conference titled ‘Chinese Voices in Psychology’. International scholars and alumni at different stages of their academic career were invited to share their experiences. Prof. Paul Lee, Dean of Social Science; Prof. Leung Yuen-sang, College Head of Chung Chi College; and Prof. Fanny Cheung, Department Chairperson, officiated at the opening ceremony. Over 150 guests attended the conference.
