Dr. Bernard C.K. Choi, senior research scientist at the Public Health Agency of Canada and associate professor of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, received the Gold Medal Award 2012 from the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada, in recognition of his vision and scientific research contributions to public health in Canada and worldwide. Dr. Choi, an alumnus of the United College, was the Resident Fellow of the College in 1991.
