Investment Option Change

Due to Chinese New Year holidays, members who wish to change their investment options effective from 1 February 2012 have to submit the Investment Option Change Form on or before 17 January 2012 to the Payroll and Superannuation Unit, Bursary. The exact closing dates for respective months can be found on the Bursary website or in the Note of the Option Change Form.

Termination of Investment Manager for Growth Fund

The Scheme currently engages three fund houses to manage the Growth Fund. RCM Asia Pacific Limited (RCM), one of the three managers, had consistently underperformed against the benchmark. The Trustees resolved at its November 2011 meeting to terminate the engagement of RCM in the Growth Fund mandate with effect from 3 January 2012. JF Asset Management Limited and Invesco Hong Kong Limited will continue to manage the Growth Fund.
