A delegation led by Prof. Zhu Li-lan, president of the Board of Trustees of Ho Leung Ho Lee (HLHL) Foundation; former chairlady of NPC Education, Science, Culture and the Public Health Committee; and also former Minister of Science and Technology of PRC; visited CUHK on 29 May. Members of the delegates included Mr. Duan Ruichun, secretary general of the Adjudication Committee of HLHL Foundation; and representatives from the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in HKSAR and Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Centre.

The delegation was warmly received by Prof. Joseph J.Y. Sung, Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Henry N.C. Wong, Pro-Vice-Chancellor;  Prof. Francis Chan, director of the Institute of Digestive Diseases; and Ms. Wing Wong, director of Academic Links (China). In the meeting, both parties exchange views about research collaboration between the mainland and Hong Kong.
