The School of Public Health (SPH) held its open day cum graduation ceremony on 20 January 2007. Mr Anthony Wu Ting-yuk, JP, chairman of the Hospital Authority, was the guest of honour at the ceremony, which was attended by more than 150 graduate students and guests.
In addition to events and exhibitions, public health seminars and information sessions on research and taught programmes at SPH were also presented. The seminars covered 'Epidemiological Research and Evidence-based Medical Practice', '21st Century Health Promotion and Primary Health Care ─ The Challenge and Way Forward', and 'Public Health Consequences of Disaster'.
