Jointly organized by the Hong Kong Representative Office of Nanjing University’s, the CUHK Convocation and the Office of Institutional Advancement of CUHK, a charity concert was held at Sha Tin Town Hall to a full house on 12 May. The event was made possible by the generous sponsorship of the Si Yuan Foundation.
The principal performers were drawn from Nanjing University’s Traditional Instrument Orchestra and the Music Ensemble of the CUHK Department of Music. The concert raised close to HK$1 million for the University’s Faculty of Medicine to support the development of its Sleep Assessment Unit and the Yao Chung Kit Diabetes Assessment Centre.
