The ceremony marking the completion of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the United College was successfully held on 16 July 2007 at Si Yuan Amenities Centre, T.C. Cheng Building. The officiating guests were Mr. Shum Choi Sang, Chairman of the College Board of Trustees and the College 50th Anniversary Activities Steering Committee; Dr. Thomas H.C. Cheung, Chairman of the College Endowment Fund Committee and President of the College Alumni Association; Mr. Calvin Chau H.F., President of the College Student Union; and Prof. Fung Kwok Pui, Head of United College.
